Since 2001, Panorama Paydirt has been on a mission to improve Central Virginia soils. We produce our materials on-site at our Earlysville farm and offer delivery in the Central Virginia area. Product pick-up is also available with a one cubic yard minimum.

PAYDIRT COMPOST
Our original Panorama Paydirt Compost is expertly formulated to feed your soil. It has been made using the same recipe since 2001 including leaves, poultry litter, and water, and is screened to 1/2” with a trommel screen. Our Paydirt Compost is weed-free, a rich, deep brown color, has a consistency similar to course coffee grounds, and is OMRI Listed for organic use. Learn more about Compost.

EVERYDAY MULCH
Our Everyday Mulch is made from twice-ground, locally sourced yard debris and will help your beds retain moisture and control weeds. It’s made of a diverse feedstock, ground to 5”, thoroughly aged, and screened with a 1.5” trommel screen. Everyday Mulch has a medium-dark brown color and a shredded consistency. It contains a balanced distribution of course and fine material and helps recycle local organic matter in the soil as it breaks down. Learn more about Everyday Mulch.

HARDWOOD BARK MULCH
Made from bark discarded by regional lumber processors, Hardwood Bark Mulch has a medium-dark brown color and a fluffy consistency made for a finished, commercial look.
USES : Great for universal mulch use

GARDEN SOIL
A combination of approximately 60% locally-sourced Virginia topsoil, and 40% of our Paydirt Compost. This material is screened to 1/2” with a trommel screen. Though this material is ready for planting, it is not completely weed-free.
USES : Great for filling empty raised beds or holes.

TENDERTURF
Clean wood chips are ground to ASTM recommended specifications for play spaces. Tenderturf is ground through 1.5” screens, is very light in color, and has a shredded consistency of a shredded material.
