Passing the Torch
A MESSAGE FROM STEVE AND DREW FROM NOVEMBER 2019 :
Greetings Valued Customers and Vendors,
Twenty-one years ago Panorama Paydirt was born from a problem the City of Charlottesville had disposing the leaves they collected every fall. Panorama Farms was one of several local farms the city approached as a possible disposal location, as the City was dealing with environmental issues at their existing disposal site. Fortunately, our geographic location relative to the city limits was a huge advantage, and we were able to make a deal with the city. We were off and running.
We have come a long way since then, learning as we went, but the times were fun and exciting despite the various regulatory headwinds and growing pains along the way. The one consistent factor that we have always appreciated above all others, is our relationship with you, our valued partners in this endeavor. Regardless of whether you have supported us from the beginning, or if we met you just the other day, you have made it possible for our success. For this, we would like to extend our most heartfelt appreciation for your consistent support.
The time has come, however, for us to to pass the torch. As of today, we are no longer owners of Panorama Paydirt. We are stepping aside for the next generation to carry the business forward. Our niece, Margaret Bloom and her husband, Noah, have purchased Panorama Paydirt from us and we couldn’t be more excited. They are young, talented and ambitious. We are confident they will continue the tradition of providing top quality landscaping products to such a wonderful customer base. We wish them the best success and we look forward to continued growth and prosperity for Panorama Paydirt. It couldn’t be in better hands.
Again, thank you so much for the support over the years.
Sincerely,
Steve Murray and Drew Murray
